What is ghosted and blocked?

Ghosting refers to a situation where someone suddenly stops communicating with another person without giving any explanation or closure. It commonly happens in dating scenarios where one party simply disappears without breaking up or explaining why they are no longer interested in seeing the other person. Ghosting also occurs in professional relationships, where someone stops responding to emails and messages without any explanation.

On the other hand, blocking refers to the act of intentionally preventing someone from contacting you. This can happen in various situations, such as ending a friendship, breaking up with a partner, or cutting ties with a toxic individual. Block can happen in different ways, such as through social media, messaging apps, or email. Once someone is blocked, they will no longer be able to see or contact the person who blocked them.
